ABSTRACT TIMELINE

1ST NOV 2023- ABSTRACT SUBMISSION STARTS

31ST JAN 2024- LAST DAY FOR ABSTRACT SUBMISSION

15TH FEBRUARY 2024- PARTICIPANTS RECEIVE ACCEPTANCE MAIL WITH CATEGORY MENTIONED ( PAPER/POSTER)

ABSTRACT GUIDELINES

• Abstracts have to be submitted ONLY online in ARSICON 2024 Conference website (www.arsiindia.org).

• As a new user please register in Registration page (please visit registrationguidelines in conference website). Once logged-in, please visit Abstractsubmission menu for submitting abstracts.

• Abstract titles should be brief and reflect the content of the abstract. Please choose the Abstract title matching the abstract.

• Structured abstract of maximum 500 words or 4000 characters (Including Title) should be submitted for both paper & poster presentation. Enter Name of authors, ARSICON Registration Number, Institutional Affiliation,contact email & phone number.

• Upload a PDF file / word file / Copy pastethe abstract in the space provided in website for abstract.

• Preferably the first author/submitting should be the presenting author. The presenting author is obliged to ascertain that all authors are aware of the content and should be an original work. The authors should ascertain that there is no plagiarism including self-plagiarism.

• All award papers/poster presenters have to be physically presented offline on the assigned podium. No voice recorded paper or video will be marked or awarded during the conference.

• As all selection will be in the blinded format, the abstract submitter should in no way mention his/her institute or place of work in the text

General Instructions

Common for All Abstracts

1. Title: Clear and concise, reflecting the content

2. Authors and Affiliations: List all authors with respective affiliations.

3. Abstract: Not more than 500 words or 4000 character

4. Keywords: 3-5 keywords

• Submissions are open to a wide array of topics, encompassing both original and previously presented works from academic, industry, military, and other sectors.

• Participants may submit multiple abstracts, with no restriction on the number of submissions.

• However, each participant can have a maximum of one abstract accepted in each category: paper and poster.

• Contributors are encouraged to submit abstracts that foster interdisciplinary dialogue and collaboration in rural healthcare.

• Each submission will undergo a rigorous peer review by our expert committee.

• Accepted abstracts, based on their relevance and innovation, will be allocated for either podium or poster presentations.

• Once the decisions are finalized, each participant will be notified via email regarding the category (paper or poster) in which their submission has been selected

POSTER PRESENTATION GUIDELINES

• The poster presentation will be in offline format

• Title of your poster (should match with the submitted abstract), names and affiliations of all authors with their corresponding institute affiliation.

• Posters shall be displayed at Dean’s Carpet on all 3 days. However, it is mandatory for the presenters to be available for discussion during the time allotted for poster evaluation (this will be intimated near to conference dates).

• Each presenter will get 3 minutes to present the poster and 2 min for discussion.

• Final poster to be mailed to official website of ARSICON 2024 Conference 7 days before the conference with file saved with the abstract id code

• NO ONSITE SUBMISSION WILL BE ACCEPTED

PODIUM/ORAL PRESENTATION GUIDELINES

• All presenters need to register for ARSICON 2024, to be considered for presentation

• You are advised to follow the time limit (3 Minutes for presentation followed by 2 minutes for discussion), failing which the audiovisuals will not be available beyond the given time.

• Your presentation should be prepared in Microsoft PowerPoint version.

• Maximum number of slides permitted – 6 to 8.

• Preferred page set-up is landscape orientation (portrait orientation will not be displayed correctly).

• Use standard Windows fonts only. Try to avoid use of non-standard Windows fonts or language specific fonts.

• Do not copy and paste the images from another application, please use the “insert image from a file” functionality from PowerPoint (format JPG or PNG).

• NO ONSITE SUBMISSION WILL BE ACCEPTED
